Definitions
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored and then retransmitted to those same sites on the next visit. "Third-party" cookies
When visiting this website you may receive cookies from sites managed by other organizations ("third parties"). Analytics cookies

For the sole purpose of monitoring and improving the performance of the site, a commercial statistical analysis product is used to record accesses to the site. Cookie duration
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or until any logout command is executed. Other cookies "survive" the closing of the browser and are also available on the user's subsequent visits. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases an expiry is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

Disabling "third-party" cookies does not in any way affect navigability.
The setting can be defined specifically for the different sites and web applications.
